Big thanks to JB for sending this over to the nin archive! A huge upgrade to one of the early NIN videos that widely circulated in varying degrees. Some tapes were only 30-35 minutes of footage. Some were about 56 minutes and miss most of the intro. I've sadly always forgot to add this one when I received a low gen VHS copy that Matt over at dmlivewiki transferred for me almost 10 years ago now lol. JB was able to obtain Kirit's master tape collection of many of the shows he recorded during his time. He has sadly passed away but JB has kept his legacy going by allowing people like the nin archive preserve his tapes. Like I said, this is one of the earlier video recordings of NIN. The audio is very good, for the time and the video settles in as the show goes on. Many of the high men copies are just that... high gen. The picture is blurry and grainy, the colors bleed. Everything. But this is a fresh transfer from Kirit's master tape! The video really starts to get good during Sin. Trent gets pulled in to the crowd by a fan at the end of it and TR is yelling, 'let me fucking go!' - Kinda wild. Very very cool to see such early NIN in such quality! Supposedly there is a Sony WM-D6 cassette recording from this night as well. Or I may be making that up. If you have that tape. Please get in contact! This was encoded in to something that was a bit more archive friendly to distribute on the archive. But hopes to preserve the quality of the master transfer.

Initially, we had this recording from a random transfer and it was put under a lot of hiss reduction post-recording. I had a VHS tape of this recording and sent it off to my buddy Matt from the DMLiveWiki to transfer the video properly. In the process, he ripped the audio from the show and without any post work, it sounds amazing. Way better than the first transfer with I would assume was obsolete equipment. Big thanks to Matt for working on this for the archive! You can compare the new/old transfers with the sample above. If you really wanted to get into the minute details of the recording, there is 11 seconds missing from the new transfer at the beginning of 'Terrible Lie,' and even then, that was ripped from a lossy source and added into the previous version.
