Show Notes
- Chicago's Q101 radio station booked Nine Inch Nails for their “Live-101” Sessions Series. Contest winners and some friends of employees attended. In all, it's estimated that around 30 or so people were in the audience that day at Chicago Recording Company. The band performed reworked versions of three songs in an “unplugged” style, and another three songs as normally performed. The band did a meet and greet afterwards, signed autographs but no pictures were allowed. A short time after the session, the attendees were sent a CD-R of the performance. The CD-R contained a fully mastered version of the performance, seemingly intended to be broadcast on the radio. This version was never played on the radio, never discussed online as best I can tell, and was never distributed online. If Q101 sent CD's of the final project to those who attended, it stands to reason the intention was to broadcast the session, but for some unknown reason, it never aired.

Notes
There are two sources available from this date. To make it easier, one was a DAT sourced unmixed version and the other was a Q101 mixed version. Trollmanen over on ETS took the sources and combined them in to one definitive version. Splicing in the lyrics that were censored in the mixed version and mixing Big Come Down to match the CDR/Mixed quality version. If you are to download anything from this page. I would suggest this being the tape to grab!

Notes
A lossless recording of this surfaced a few years ago thanks to nympholept. This has been thought to have come from an unmixed DAT tape from the session. Now after the CD-R has leaked of the mixed version, Even Deeper's misses a section of the bridge. Big Come Down is on this version and this is uncencored.

Notes
An auction earlier this year was made of a CD-R and signed pass from the performance. About 30 fans were in attendance for this intimate show and a short time after the performance, these fans were sent this CD-R. ETS user, Trollmanen won the auction and shared it with the community. The mix is different than the lossless (potential DAT tape sourced) version that has been floating around for the last 15 years. It was definitely mixed for radio, as curse words have been censored. Comparing this version to the supposed DAT tape source, this has a DJ introduction, TDTWWA is a different take and matches perfectly with the version found on Still, but with slight mixing differences. Even Deeper is complete on this CD. The DAT source missing a section of the bridge. Big Come Down is missing from this CDR. Hurt take 1 from the leaked version is used on this CDR. If you would like a definitive version. I would suggest downloading the version made by Trollmanen that takes the best of both sources to make the perfect version.
