Trent: --> Don't you... don't you... [crowd fails to start chanting] This is the long version... Don't you... Sometimes we do this for half an hour... Don't you... I figured it's the first time we've been in Birmingham, let's stretch this fucking thing a little bit. Don't you... Don't you... Don't you... [*chuckles*] Don't you... OK, let's try it [TR throws mic to the front row crowd, people still don't sing and try to unscrew the mic from the cord] ...Alright, back to being serious [loud part starts]

Hurt
Trent: TY. TY. TYVM. Having never been here, I would like to say thanks for coming out. You guys have been great, TY. Also I'd like to thank Bauhaus and TV On The Radio for being here with us tonight. Who else do I wanna thank? Aaron North for playing guitar... Josh Freese for playing drums... Jeordie White for just being Jeordie... and the French guy, what's it? Alessandro Courtennay... Some new people on the front I haven't seen before, some people I have seen before, [??]... This is why I don't talk very much between songs. [laughs] This is a little love song for George Bush.

Notes
Great recording, one of the best of the tour. The beginning of "Somewhat Damaged" was not recorded. That was a problem for tapers on the tour because the lights did not go out or any warning when Trent started to sing SD.
