Notes
The recording is blown out, just by the bass. Everything sounds good until the kick bass is done. The internal mics of the R09 can not handle the bass that comes from the NIN show, especially when you are that close. This is a good recording to have for the collectors only. Either way, its nice to have this recording surface as it might be the only one that captured it.

Notes
I've had this in the collection for almost 5 years and I just am getting around to working on it. The audio is ripped from the circulating video source. Here is what the trader who sent me this had to say in the text file, "I have always been looking for a better recording and finally got in touch with JV, who filmed the entire concert with a Canon Ixus 90 pocket camera. I didn't have much hope that his recording would represent an upgrade, but actually the recording is surprisingly good when considering the equipment! After isolating the audio, it still need quite a bit of doctoring. First, there were 200+ extremely short, but audible dropouts. These were detected using the Delete Silence filter and fixed manually. Furthermore, the audio had a bit of a nasty "ringing" quality, which was fixed by taming the high end using the Graphic Equalizer. Finally I boosted the low end by using the Multiband Compressor (Enhance Lows preset).I hope you can agree that after more than five years there finally is a listenable recording of this gig!"

Notes
Thanks to Ruud for getting in contact with me and sending me over JV's raw video source. It was initially released with just the audio. But now we have the video that accompanies the audio. Filmed from the front of the Hall in the pit, it does get a bit shaky at times. For what it's worth, it is a below average video with a digital camera. But it does have archival quality to it.
