That phone call, that invitation started the whole tour, this being the first official night, so, thanks again. All of us are in various uh... states of exhaustion and jet lag right now, so we all kinda high, and the colors seem real and fucking... intense. Apparently today we have a new album out. [big cheers] We gonna play a couple things from that right now.

This run of shows, we decided to come back and play for a bit, really just because, um... we're grateful that people still care, and grateful that we're able to do this. Because it was [??] us sane and just a way to kind of make sense of the world, and... before the show tonight. Somewhere in the audience is our dear friend Alan Moulder, who really is another member of the band, he's... he's amongst you, out there somewhere. And... We decided, we felt like we wanted to play a lot of songs from The Fragile tonight, because... The weird thing about being around for a long time, playing music for a while, is we... The Fragile is a pretty dark period in my life, and when we... when Alan and I sat in the studio for two-plus years, waiting for me to get my shit together... It uh... I dunno, defined... it made life understandable. When we play these songs now, we really... fucking... we get there. We're not going through the motions and... Thanks for the opportunity to do it! TY for indulging us to do a self-indulging setlist that we wanna play tonight. TY. I've got another song from The Fragile. Go!
