Gave Up
Trent: TY! TYVM. TY for coming out, TY. [??] It's always been a dream of ours to play Radio City Music Hall. Actually, if I'm being honest, I just made that up. It doesn't mean that much to me. I had actually looked up to see if we've played here before... We're doing this for a long, long fucking time. Irregardless, it's a cool place, and we're glad we are here and we're having... having a good time tonight. You know... I can't come to New York and not think of... a great friend and an important influence and just awesome person, who used to live here. We gonna play a song that we had a privilege of working with [??]... The song that's strangely relevant more than ever right now. It's by David Bowie.

Notes
The ninlive rig had some problems this night, so I am always worried when I don't know anyone taping a show. But then on the 14th, I got an email from Irnbruise, who has taped NY area shows in the past and this was enclosed with it! Very happy to have her recording on the archive. It's an average tape and I love and admire that she tapes these for her own listening and is cool to share them out with the masses. Although she calls the quality "crappy," I would say nothing like that. I know many of the recordings that I made early in my taping days are realatively crap to others. But they were MY recordings and they allow me to recollect where I was standing and the whole atmosphere of the show. This is a great addition to the archive and I hope that Irnbruise keeps recording! The show looks to be in mono. But it may be how the show was transferred. She will be sending me the minidisc to transfer digitally soon!

Notes
Taper recorded this show stage right about 20 ft from the stage. The recorder was put on the seat in front and sadly the recorder became disconnected from the mics and the last two songs did not get recorded. With Over and Out being incomplete.

Notes
Jim Powers has filmed other Nine Inch Nails over the years and his footage is epic. I'd really love to get my hands on the raw footage prior to youtube encoding. This is some of the best footage from the 2018 tour. I am not sure what he films with because he is super close and I can't imagine running a camcorder this close. This definitely is in the front row. I have watched Mr. Self Destruct a few hundred times over the last few years. It is great. The whole show was not recorded. Just over half of the show was recorded.
