Notes
The ninlive rig had some problems this night, so I am always worried when I don't know anyone taping a show. But then on the 14th, I got an email from Irnbruise, who has taped NY area shows in the past and this was enclosed with it! Very happy to have her recording on the archive. It's an average tape and I love and admire that she tapes these for her own listening and is cool to share them out with the masses. Although she calls the quality "crappy," I would say nothing like that. I know many of the recordings that I made early in my taping days are realatively crap to others. But they were MY recordings and they allow me to recollect where I was standing and the whole atmosphere of the show. This is a great addition to the archive and I hope that Irnbruise keeps recording! The show looks to be in mono. But it may be how the show was transferred. She will be sending me the minidisc to transfer digitally soon!

Thanks to TN for sending this over to the archive. The master WAV was very low and I had to amplify the sound by almost 20db. Luckily, you still don't hear any of the noise floor. Being on the front row, you have some very charismatic fans around you with some yelling and wooing around at certain times. But the recording is quite enjoyable to listen to! TR is a bit chatty at the end of the show before Americans and Even Deeper. Also he stated how stoked he was to be playing before My Bloody Valentine.

This recording has been uncirculated up to this point (June 2015). Big thanks to irnbruise for lending me her master MD tapes of shows she has recorded over the years. This was recorded in LP2 mode and my MD deck was not able to play these tapes. So big thanks to brianblank for transferring these MDs digitally for me. Because of the LP2 mode the recording does sound a bit metallic at some points due to compression. A big reason this took so long to release was because there was a problem with the right channel of the recording. I think either the 719 was not plugged in all the way, or the right channel had been damaged on the mic. The channel is very faint on the raw transfer and when you normalized the channel, there was too much low noise floor apparent to want to salvage the channel. So, I made this recording a mono one with just the left channel. This is the only source from the show and I am very happy to have this for the archive.

Notes
Taper had problems with his MD recorder during the show. Some points of brickwalling in the recording because the last time he used this recorder was at the Webster Hall show in 2009. The MD recorder would not allow to adjust the recording level, so the taper ran with the levels from the previous show. The MD recorder also stopped recording after "Head Like a Hole" so this tape is incomplete.

NINSlave's recording is also a fantastic recording. Webster Hall really pops out some great sound and there are no screamers or talkers around the taper in this one. Which ever of these recordings you pickup they both rock!

The whole recording is crystal clear. A Very enjoyable recording and I have always had respect for the Sony 717/719 series. They never seem to pump out bad pulls.

This is a great recording. Just listen to the sin sample! The music is very clear and you need this recording because of what happened during Hurt.
