From TJ: "amazing tour opener with the debut of Stu Brooks on bass and performances of Something I Can Never Have, Non-Entity, and Parasite. Stu fucking killed it. Can't wait to see what else is in store the rest of the tour! In terms of the record I was in the middle of the arena and turned my head for the B-Stage which is apparent on the tape but otherwise it's fine. Some talkers at points but nothing major."

It wouldn't be a NIN tour debut without zeegrizzle in attendance! Tape sounds great, thank you!!

This was a fantastic, face-melting concert. First concert of this leg of the "Peel It Back" tour. There were a couple of tour debuts at this concert which were awesome to experience. "Something I Can Never Have", with a couple lines of the chorus from Depeche Mode’s "Stripped" at the end - very unexpected and not something that Trent has done before to my knowledge. Also "Non-Entity" was a tour debut, last played at 2009-09-06 Los Angeles. Stu Brooks replaced Alessandro Cortini on bass, and he fit right in and performed superbly. I was located about equidistant between the main stage and the B-stage. My recording came out quite good overall, especially since I had my microphones modified with the low-sensitivity 4.7k mod. That made a HUGE difference and improvement with recording very loud bass levels. Thank you to Ryan for recommending GAK-ables to perform the modification. Ted did a great job and completed the job expeditiously at a fair price. Unfortunately, a noisy fan was seated to my right. She is quite obnoxiously screaming and loudly singing at certain points of the concert - mostly during "Wish", "March Of The Pigs", and "Gave Up". If you find this objectionable, there are fortunately excellent recordings by TJ and Zeegrizzle available as well. Be sure to check their recordings out regardless. Their taping efforts and generosity with sharing are always much appreciated.
