Taper's notes, "As usual, NIN delivers a phenomenal performance. There has been so much variety on this tour and they mixed it up nicely on their stop in Vegas. The sound was dialed in at the venue, and the tape came out great. enjoy!"

Taper's notes, "Recorded dead center, back of the pit about 20-30 meters back. Thank you to TJ for sending over the master file to upload on to the archive! Sound is amazing on this one! He said there was some obnoxious people behind them that was picked up slightly on the tape. Also someone who was VERY proud of how loud they could whistle. At one point someone told him to shut the fuck up lol."

Second night in Philly and I was EXPLODING. Band comes out with the fog rolling in, house lights still on. I about lost my mind. No intro, just right in to Wish. This set was HEAVY. No fluff, no encore. Just straight through for 1h40m. Tonight was the debut of 'Me, I'm Not' on the 2022 tour. There were a few songs soundchecked in the afternoon that were not played that haven't been played in awhile. Taped from the same spot on the floor as the previous night. I also did video and came out really well, not having too many people that were taller than I around.

First night of the run in Philly. Thank you to my wife for getting me tickets for both nights and she accompanied me for this show! Her first. She now gets it why I travel to see NIN so many times. Said that they are an unbelievably tight and well executed band and understands my allure to them! Anyways, to the show... They opened the show with the backing track of Subterraneans and Trent was playing the sax live, so I kept this on the tape. The whole setlist is WELL. BALANCED. Some deep cuts, Home/TBOTE and an EPIC encore. Trent/Atticus blew my mind with the 'Happiness In Slavery' breakdown. This was taped from a few feet in front of the soundboard on the floor.

This was recorded in front of the left stack near the front. Sadly, this was the wrong choice of sides with everyone wanting to mosh pit and crowd surf around the taper. A few times they were knocked in the head and some phasing issues. The sound was very loud and the bass was very apparent. I tried to reduce the bass with some compression to help maintain a consistent waveform. Hopefully this helps it not be so overpowering. The IEM monitors were malfunctioning due to the humidity at Rockville. It had to be reset and there was about a 15 minute break, which truncated the set. Trent acknowledged that they were only at this show because of his friends the Foo Fighters had to back out, rightfully so. The humidity also messed up with other equipment on stage during the show. The bassline for The Lovers is missing during the beginning and during the drum solo of The Perfect Drug. From numerous accounts, Trent seemed very frustrated throughout the night. Throwing his guitar up in to the air after a few songs and slamming the mic down.

Taper notes: "I cannot state how much a great time I've had the last four days with Ryan and Adam from NIN Live and Mark from LP Live. You won't find more kind folks out there. I had an absolute blast and am sad that this leg of shows is already at an end. Let's do it again soon! The last show of the southeast leg of shows and Nine Inch Nails did not disappoint. A great mix of bangers and rarities. Was nice to see some newer songs played as well. The band seemed in fine form and the light show was one again insane. Cannot wait to see them again, debating trying to swing Philly. Also filmed in 4K."

Taper Notes: "First off, another awesome night hanging with Ryan + Adam J. of NIN Live and Mark from LP Live but with my SO this time. Can't wait to do it again tomorrow in Franklin! This was a wild show. They opened with Mr. Self Destruct and went HARD from there on out. No slow songs and no fucking around. They sounded incredibly tight and it was 90 minutes of chaos onstage. "Heresy" was played for the first time in years and there were a few fuckups of someone playing samples before the song started, most noticeably before "Sin" and "The Perfect Drug". I grabbed the setlist afterwards and have included a picture. One more show to go on this leg of the tour! I also filmed this in 4K.

Taper Notes: "First and foremost: This one goes out to Ryan J. over at ninlive.com . He runs an insane NIN live recording resource and his site was the inspiration behind mine. I had the pleasure of meeting him and some other tapers/great people today and had a blast. It was awesome going to a show with fellow tapers and NIN fans - can't wait to do it again!! This show was insane. It's been four years since the last NIN show and no one had any idea what they would play. I managed to catch the rehearsal and knew some of the songs coming but there were still a number of surprises in there. Seeing them debut "Fashion" was pretty wild and they played one of my favorites "The Becoming" which never gets old. The band was in fine form tonight and Trent was definitely enjoying himself. I didn't edit this recording at all - it came out sounding great as is. I was in the sweet spot dead center in front of Trent in the pit and filmed in 4K as well. Enjoy!"

After meeting the band the first night, I didn't know how we could top it the next night. But NIN DECIDED TO PLAY "NOW I'M NOTHING!!!!" Which they haven't played since 2009 and only played a handful of times since 1991. There was no "Bad Witch" segment of the show like all the setlists before. They were not fooling around and played hits after hits!! It was epic! LOVED hearing them cover Joy Division's "Digital!!!" We had some great seats thanks to m0reta on ETS. I was living in San Diego at the time and she came to the physical world pre sales and picked us up tickets. This recording is for her and she was the reason the tape came out so well because the placement of the seats. Honestly, the best setlists that they have been playing and I think better than the first night. We met a lot of people over the weekend, and it was amazing to talk with other fans around the concourse and head out after the shows to talk about our favorite band. I will never forget this run of shows!

Best two shows I have ever seen. My brother flew down to Atlanta for the shows and these are now the only ones I am making. I've been running the archive for almost 10 years now and I have never met the band. All I have wanted to do is meet them, shake their hands and tell them how much I appreciate their music. So I sent a message over twitter and the outpour of support was overwhelming. Their tour manager contacted me and we setup a meet prior to them going on stage this night! We went up to meet them and it was surreal!!! Just to meet the band that I admire so much and travel to go see with my brother, it was just an awesome experience. We chatted about the archive and taping and I understand where TR is coming from. He told me that he is flattered about the site and the band came to speak to me and said that they love my work and the site is incredible. It meant a lot. Alessandro said that, "if I need to know where I have been since 2005, I just go here". It made me laugh. At the end of the day, no open taping policy because they can't control the quality. But he respects it and said that I can keep doing the good work and he would never shut the site down. It was such a great thing to hear from him. He told my brother and I a few other things that will be coming up and we talked about the Banksy Hotel compositions that will be coming out on vinyl! There will be a bigger write up about this encounter on the site. In regards to the show, IT WAS AWESOME. This is the live debut of Dear, World and we had some great seats thanks to m0reta on ETS. I was living in San Diego at the time and she came to the physical world pre sales and picked us up tickets. This recording is for her and she was the reason the tape came out so well because the placement of the seats. Honestly, the best setlists that they have been playing. The first recording to be released from the 2017 run of shows. First performance since August 2014 for Nine Inch Nails. Thanks to Sheepdean for sending over the mp3 of the recording to the archive, initally. Later in the day, I was sent the respective 24/96 FLAC file version in which I changed the tags of the FLAC files to align with the naming system of the archive. I have also created a 16-bit version for those who still like CDs and don't want the huge 24 bit files. Initially, I was told this was an anonymous source. But it turns out it's from our friend Me, I'm Not; who did a fantastic run of shows recording How To Destroy Angels in 2013. Tape is excellent. Recorded from section 105. Thanks to everyone involved with bringing this recording to light. I hope there will be more to come from this year's tour. (and possibly this Me, I'm Not taper will contact me so we can chat and I can thank them personally!)

First show in which "The Frail" and The Wretched" were performed on this leg. A very good recording. Up to this point of this recording's relese, this may be the most Schoeps sources that NIN has had for one tour! Thanks to Nicky C for taping and sharing!

Me I'm Not recorded the full west coast leg with some fantastic gear. Obviously the results are fantastic. Great tape and they recorded in the highest bit rate/sample rate size possible to archive this show at. So if you are looking to play this on a CD, you must convert the FLAC files to 16-bit/44.1 kHZ. Amazing tape.
