The LP/RAGE/NIN Archives randomly met GW at Shaky Knees and we all told him how we love his tapes and found out that he had taped this one. But it had never circulated. GW was kind enough to send over his master tapes to share. Thank you GW for sharing these tapes all these years later.

I was always gutted I came in to this show late and forgot to hit record once I got in. So it's nice to have a great recording from this show as a consolation!

The taper is probably his worst critic... he said this was a terrible recording. I could not disagree with him more. Its a fabulous recording and I really enjoyed listening to it. All of the audio is there highs, mids, lows its just awesome. There is a skip in "Wish" because in the right channel of the song the mic wire got tangled which made the mic short out, so it was removed. To be the only source from the Englewood show to surface I am glad it was this one. This recording has been highlighted on RITC's NIN Recording of the Week.

Besides the NINJA/Wave Goodbye tour you probably did not see a lot of sources like this one. George has been around taping for a long time and has a lot of fantastic recordings he has produced over the years. This is a great recording with fantastic sound. You don't see a lot of NIN recordings recorded with DPA 4023's. I think to date there are only 2 or 3 sources recorded with these. This recording was highlighted in the RITC's Recording of the Week.

Sound is epic, performance is even better. I loved listening back to this one. I forgot how visceral these performances are and this recording captures it well. Thank you GW for sharing these tapes all these years later.
