Recordings
Notes
An average recording from the Fragility Tour. There is some clipping here and there from the audience cheers. The most notable part about this show is this is (to my knowledge at least) the only show that Trent sings the lyrics to "The New Flesh." Which is pretty cool. This is an unknown rip of the audio from the video recording of the show. Even though this is from a video recording and on the archive we don't like to have audio rips of video, we will keep it just because this was widely traded back in the early 2000s.

Not the same taper as night 1, even though they used the same equipment. Unknown taper. Would love to have more info on this tape, if possible.

This is recorded from the right-rear of the venue. A pretty good audience recording that is the full recording. This has a watermark of DITC and I'm not sure what it's from/for. Maybe the filmer or bootleg that this may have been liberated from? I assume this is the same filmer from the night prior.

(Upgrade: Feb 2014) This is a cassette recording copied to a DAT tape. Unknown gen and no taper information on the DAT. Decent recording, nothing worth writing home about. Hiss is not overbearing, but this seems to be a higher gen. This is also the same recording as "Finality." I originally had this on the archive in mp3 format. So this source is an upgrade. On the DAT tape had the writing "You Fucking Promised Me." Probably just a title the taper gave it, but thought it was worth noting. Transfer is in 16/48, just as it was copied to the DAT. For archival purposes. Recording known as "Finality" and "You Fucking Promised Me." Supposedly a silver CD release, I have yet to see a copy anywhere.
Notes
This recording is very good, with good sound. It is incomplete because it misses "The New Flesh/Pinion" as well as there is a cut at the beginning of "Into The Void." At the end of this source there is also some diginoise. Not sure if it's on the DAT master as this copy is from a 1st gen DAT tape. Not sure who recorded this, or with what but we would definitely like an upgrade of this source from the master tape if anyone has it.
Notes
Thanks to Sam for sending this from the UK. Listening back to this from the other sources, it is definitely a different source. This was purchased from a bootleg market. The recording was copied onto a Mitsubishi cassette tape and I think this is where most of the quality is lost. There is a lot of hiss because the quality of the tape. I tried to remove it as much as I could using noise analysis. I think it came out pretty decent. Few songs fade out, or fade in at the beginning. Awesome to have another source for this show.

First performance of Reptile on the Fragility Tour. Misses Sin, March of the Pigs, Piggy, La Mer, The Great Below, and The Way Out is Through.

Supposedly there is a full video of the show, but it has never surfaced.
Notes
Good recording, sometimes a bit heavy on the kick bass. But very clear recording. Highlighted on RITC's NIN Recording of the Week.

Below average video recording from the rear of the venue. I would assume to a poor transfer of this recording, either from the master tapes themselves. Or dubbed onto a DVD or a high gen to DVD. The audio is pretty average for an audience recording. New Flesh/Pinion intro was missed and Somewhat Damaged starts from the first few notes on the film.
Notes
Great recording, just listen to the sample above. No other recording information for this show is available, only that it was recorded on an MD recorder.

This is taken from a cassette copy from the master onto a CDR. Rare recording for the time. This is the only show that 'Something I Can Never Have' is played on this tour and also the debut of 'Even Deeper.' If anyone has more info on this recording, I would love to obtain it!
Notes
First night of the Fragility Tour v1.0 and it was captured in great quality.

This is an audience recording from the show, incomplete. It stops at R.S.V.P. and the last few songs are missed. Decent recording but overloads in parts.

One of the most elusive tours for Nine Inch Nails recordings because the short notice of the shows. During the week leading up to NIN's Day For Night Festival performance in 2017. wrote a piece on the Houston Numbers 1995 show. In this article, there are some images courtesy of Numbers Nightclub. I am no expert, but I feel like I've dabbled in this long enough to know these pictures are screencaps of a video recording. I have reached out to Numbers Nightclub and I have not gotten an answer from them. I have also reached out to Craig about his source. Hoping to hear back. But this definitely seems like there is a video recording from this show.
