Recordings
Notes
Same as the other recordings. But this also has a bonus disc with Glastonbury Festival and Big Day Out Festival Sydney songs on it. Weird because the main disc is this show. But the title is about the Sydney show. Anyways, I have added this to the archive and the other pages. The Glastonbury songs were Terrible Lie, Starfuckers and Hurt.

Pro Shot from what I assume is a live broadcast from Glastonbury Festival. The recording starts during The Wretched and has some fade from another stage, I believe. Whoever was producing the live broadcast didn't switch over quick. But anyways, it gives you 3 songs from the middle of their set. Reptile being cut out half way through to go to the VJs. Would love a better copy of this if it exists.

There is a soundboard recording from the A Perfect Circle's set. Included was "Hurt." That is the only song from the board. But obviously because this is the last song of the night. The whole show could possibly be out there.
Notes
JD allowed me to borrow his whole DAT collection that includes a number of DAT masters. This was one that was not circulated. I am still looking for his Lakeland master that I have not transferred yet. This is an ALD recording that is incomplete and not one of the better ones I have heard. There is some interference with it and general ringing throughout. This is pretty much the raw transfer. If anyone wants to take a stab at removing the ringing, that would be cool to hear without it.

This is a soundboard rip from the video webcast. As it being the year 2000, webcasts were not as good as what they are today. Very compressed audio so not the best quality. But, this is the only source available for the show.

We had a previous verion of this show from an unknown mp3 source. The betacam master tape was aquired by a few people over at who properly transferred the Channel V broadcast. This is the same exact soundboard audio from the previous copy we had, but from the master. The quality is vastly superior to the mp3 version, obviously. Only 7 songs were recorded/broadcasted and not all are complete. Songs lyrics with explicit content are also edited out.

This is from a 3rd generation VHS copy of the Channel V broadcast in Australia. Picture/audio is great. 7 songs were in the broadcast and an interview of Trent before the performance starts. This had been mislabeled under the 01/23/2000 Gold Coast show for quite some time. I had received it from a fan that stated it was from that date. Thanks to the few people who sent in to make the correction. It is now fixed.

Radio broadcast of The New Flesh/Pinion, Somewhat Damaged, The Great Below, The Way Out Is Through, Head Like a Hole and The Day the World Went Away.

This is the audio from the Fragility 1.0 special on MTV. Transferred from the master betacam tape thanks to the wonderful people over at . The live music is from this show, it has some snippets of live songs that may be intertwined with a piano interlude done by trent in the studio. The quality is fantastic. Songs lyrics with explicit content are also edited out.

Thanks to FULLMETAL, this is an upgrade from the cable > VHS > DVD copy of this performance we have on the archive. You can read FULLMETAL's notes below. This will definitely be the best version of the performance at the MTV VMAs we will get of this. There are no channel watermarks in the bottom right corner like the previous versions. From FULLMETAL,"My source was either DirecTV or the in-house cable feed at Techwood recorded on D2 tape. Bumped that D2 to Digibeta sometime in 2001 and encoded that Digibeta to QuickTime mid 2018." This is definitive version of this recording.

bobcat recorded to VHS the MTV Music Awards via the Much Music (Canada) broadcast of the show. This was transferred to DVD which you see here. I've left this version up for those who want a DVD copy to easily burn.

Soundboard audio, not more you can say about that. There is a bit of hiss because it was ripped from the VHS tape. This recording was highlighted on RITC's Recording of the Week.

This was shot by Nothing Records for promotional use. It was transferred to VHS and distributed that way. Great recording, the audio from above is ripped from this VHS promo. Shot from the rear balcony with nice wide angles and some good close ups. Great that there is one source from this 1996 tour!

I forgot that I had this and never uploaded it to the show page itself. David Williams was the editor of this show and highlighted this bunch on his Vimeo page back in 2010. He spoke to the ninhotline in October of 2010 and had this to say about the project, "This shoot was when Virgin Records was going under and did not have the money to finish. The footage is lost forever. I was the editor of record for this project. This concert was probably never paid for to the production company due to the snafu with the label." The vimeo page has since been deleted. But thankfully, someone grabbed all the footage from the site for me to store for this long until I realized I never posted it! I remember back when it first was uploaded that David mentioned in a comment on the video that this was recorded in Phoenix of 1995. This may be the only footage that will ever surface professionally from the Outside Tour and it's some great stuff. These video files have been corrected from the original files posted on Vimeo. Specifically, the display aspect ratio has been corrected to 4:3, audio sync has been corrected, and audio channels have been balanced and boosted on the workprint (required a re-encode).

This is a soundboard recording from this tour. Complete with David Bowie's set as well. Terrible Lie does fade in. This recording was highlighted on RITC's Recording of the Week. It was rumored this was an ALD recording. But September 2015 saw the release of the actual transfer from the master DAT tape. This is a mono soundboard recording, as many PA systems are mono and hard for you to distinguish when hearing a live performance. Older versions of this recording that have been circulating were fake mono. Which means they created two channels to resemble it. An amazing piece to add to the archive!

Back in the late 2000s, there was a user on TheTradersDen by the name of Dave_Jr that had a lot of in house feeds from The Palace of Auburn Hills from the early 90s. There he shared some Pantera and Metallica in house feeds. They did this by having a VCR in one of the suites and recording the in house feed that way. This was done for many shows during that time period at The Palace. Sadly, many of them have gone unreleased. This was said to be one of them. Would love to add this to the archive.

This is the only source to come from this surprise show. Rhino Entertainment Company released a compilation CD with a few songs from industrial bands in 1999. One of the songs was "Gave Up" from this date. Because this was released on a record label, this will not be available for download. But you can find these CDs for cheap on Discogs if you would like to have the full track. I should note that this setlist may not be entirely accurate for this show.
