Another fantastic, face-melting concert. Even louder than New Orleans and the venue's sound was better, far less echoey sounding. Tour debuts: "(You Made It Feel Like) Home" and "The Line Begins To Blur". Another solid recording as well. Some noisy fans around me which always seems to happen, but not as obnoxious as those around me in New Orleans, fortunately.

This was a fantastic, face-melting concert. First concert of this leg of the "Peel It Back" tour. There were a couple of tour debuts at this concert which were awesome to experience. "Something I Can Never Have", with a couple lines of the chorus from Depeche Mode’s "Stripped" at the end - very unexpected and not something that Trent has done before to my knowledge. Also "Non-Entity" was a tour debut, last played at 2009-09-06 Los Angeles. Stu Brooks replaced Alessandro Cortini on bass, and he fit right in and performed superbly. I was located about equidistant between the main stage and the B-stage. My recording came out quite good overall, especially since I had my microphones modified with the low-sensitivity 4.7k mod. That made a HUGE difference and improvement with recording very loud bass levels. Thank you to Ryan for recommending GAK-ables to perform the modification. Ted did a great job and completed the job expeditiously at a fair price. Unfortunately, a noisy fan was seated to my right. She is quite obnoxiously screaming and loudly singing at certain points of the concert - mostly during "Wish", "March Of The Pigs", and "Gave Up". If you find this objectionable, there are fortunately excellent recordings by TJ and Zeegrizzle available as well. Be sure to check their recordings out regardless. Their taping efforts and generosity with sharing are always much appreciated.

I hadn't seen Nine Inch Nails live since 2014, and they did not disappoint. Solid set list, energetic and well-rehearsed performance, great sound, and especially great lighting. It was really cool to experience 'Mr. Self Destruct', 'The Perfect Drug', and 'Burn' live. I was avoiding any set list spoilers, so these were a total surprise. Pretty respectful and quiet crowd around me as well, so my recording came out pretty good to my ears, other than the reverberation from the venue's acoustics which also causes noticeable slap-back in the right channel on certain songs. This recording is free from the slight distortion of bass like some of my other recent recordings, thanks to microphones utilizing the 4.7k mod. It's still maybe a bit bass heavy despite some light EQ and compression, but you can adjust to your preference using your own EQ. I try not to go too heavy-handed with permanent adjustments to audio. Two amusing notes: there was a guy on the floor wearing a T-shirt that said 'SAD MUSIC FOR HORNY PEOPLE', I included a mediocre photo of this. And before 'Burn', the guy in front of me yelled 'Supernaut' - how obscure. I'm also super happy to have had the opportunity to meet up and hang out with Ryan from NIN Live before and after the concert! Thanks also to Austin for attending the concert with me and assisting with equipment. I recorded Boys Noize as well

Notes from the taper, "A good audience recording. There were several talkers around me with occasional loud "woo"ing and such close by, but I don't feel that it's frequent enough to harm the recording much. Audience chatter is somewhat audible in the background, but I envisioned it to be much worse than it really is. I tried to attenuate very loud claps in order to normalize the recording better. Don't know why people talk throughout the whole show, guess it's more of a social event for them. I did get the lawn tickets which were el-cheapo on sale, so that probably explains it."
