Big thanks to Smores for the upgrade with this tape. More than likely this is from the DAT recording that circulates. Smores had no other information with this tape, so if anyone has more info, please get in contact! Initially I had this on the archive with just the NIN/Bowie portion in mp3, and it was in terrible quality. The recording is very good! While transferring this, there is a noise in the right channel during the end of "Gave Up" and "Down In It." Not sure what it is, but it was on the cassette. Would love to get a DAT clone copy of this. Enjoy the tape! This is the 16 bit version. This can be burned straight to CD. If you would like the 24/48 version, you can find it on DIME or the NIN Drive.
Notes
From Bowie Station, where they took Source 1 and a DAT source (I assume source 3) and merged the two recordings together to create a full show.
Notes
Not the full show. This silver CD is on one CD which is the reason why it is not the complete NIN set. The beginning of "Terrible Lie" is cut and "Eraser" was not recorded or not kept on the silver CD.
Notes
Includes the Bowie set. Starts during the NIN/Bowie section. Not the same as the other sources. Probably the most taped show on the Outside Tour.

Notes
The two silver CD versions are the same recording. This is from the text file from the torrent: "The David Bowie portion of this show is available on the silver pressed bootleg "A Hyper Circle" and the more rare NIN portion on something called "Closer to Trent" Whether this was an actual silver boot is unknown since I cannot find any artwork or actual people who have it." - Gladcarrot

One of the last recordings I found because of the ninlive instagram account, they reached out to me because someone linked them to the page. I wasn't sure if I would be able to get a copy, but I was very surprised to have WAV files hit the inbox! These have been uncirculated for years. Finally unearthed in 2025, very cool. I'd be interested to hear how they transferred these. I feel like we could make them a bit better with azimuth adjustment and maybe adjusting the levels on the transfer. This is a complete tape and obviously these Australia shows are not documented well. I'd love to hear back from Platterpus, if they have time. I obviously lost all of my messages with the disabling of the ninlive instagram account.
Notes
This is a cassette sourced copy. Not sure what the orignal format of the concert was recorded on. More than likely, it was also cassette. To my ears, this is a high gen cassette. Looking for an upgrade to this source. Only the 2nd half of the concert was recorded. Starts at "The Downward Spiral."
Notes
Big thanks to ellaguru for transferring this LP Mode DAT for me. It's a DAT clone from the DAT master, but that is all I know. This is different than the Unknown DAT source that is from this show as well. The tape is pretty good and includes the 5 minutes or so of the encore break that source 1 does not. The other difference is that source 1 has more of the pre-show before "Pinion" than this tape. This DAT clone was made in LP mode (16/32).
Notes
This is an upgrade to the one we had on here previously. Upgraded to a 1st gen cassette in August 2011. Good recording that does not distort. Thank you Stefan N. from Germany for letting RITC borrow the tape!
Notes
None.
Notes
I've mistaked this show for being incomplete. But this is the whole show. NIN's encore songs were not performed because of the songs done with Adam Ant.
Notes
This is an upgrade to the source that I previously posted on the archive. This comes from a 2nd gen cassette thanks to Smores for allowing me to borrow a bunch of his cassettes to archive. The sound quality is a big jump from the previous unknown version that has been out there. Would love to find any sort of information on the taper/equipment for this one. After "Eraser" is the tape flip, some of "Hurt" is cut from the recording.
Notes
The recording has a good amount of hiss present on it. The performance is good though and the sound is not bad at all. This comes from a Silver CD version and I bet if you found a version of this close to the master tape the hissing will go down a considerable amount (EDIT: Very true, see source 1a). This tape is also incomplete. Missing the encore, as to fit on one CD.
Notes
This is on the silver cd, "Hellraisers." Only two songs from this date on the CD, "Reptile" and "Gave Up." The other portion of this silver cd is from 11/13/1994 Columbus.
Notes
This is a huge addition to the archive. This tape would have been lost forever if it hadn't been for elegymart and stonecutter for going saving this from the trash. Big thank you to them for taking this tape and sending it to me. GP taped a lot of shows in the 80-90s and many of them are unplayed. I assume this tape hadn't been played since being recorded. This is from the 2nd night of NY run. As the DAT was mislabeled. GP also taped the Roseland Ballroom show in May of 1994 and sounds incredible. Sadly, the mic must have gotten disconnected at one point, as much of the tape is missing and kicks back in half way through the show. As for this recording, it is the best source to be released from this date. At the beginning of the show, the volume fluctuates a bit and I did my best to mitigate the wavering of levels. Once I get an update from GP about what they potentially used for recording, I will add it to the show's archive page. Still amazing to see older shows being unearthed like this almost 30 years later.
Notes
Thanks to TheBang for the silver CD rip of this recording. He wrote a few comments about the Silver CD, "This bootleg was chopped up and the track order randomized with fades for no discernible reason. I reordered the tracks, removed the fades where there was enough overlap, and minimized the remaining fades. The encore was not included on the bootleg. This bootleg is mono."
Notes
Thanks to JW for unearthing this cassette for me to transfer. I've had a backlog of stuff and my cassette deck died halfway through transferring a handful of tapes and had to wait to get it back. At first, I thought this quite possibly could be the Bradley Kaplan DAT recording that never really circulated. There was one copy of it that was around, but binned. BK was on DATHEADs if anyone knows any more information. After analyzing this more, this seems to be the same source 2 recording that is up on the archive now. But in way better quality. That copy was from a high gen (DAT4) cassette of acc123456. I firmly believe that this cassette copy here is a low gen dub to cassette from a DAT recording. The hiss noise floor is really low and sounds way clear. Although there are tape flips, I can't distinguish any gap in the recording besides the encore where the recorder definitely paused the recording. Although I cannot confirm 100% that this is a DAT recording, the 24/48 fileset has been archived here. Can confirm that this source is NOT the same that is on Manson's Revenge, which is a different recording and mono. Either way, this is a great upgrade for the archive.

This recording was found on the alt.nin forums at this point. TheBang had a copy many years ago, but got a better source some time later and scrapped this. This has not been circulated well and I would love a copy of this.
