Last show of the tour. Being a 2nd night in the same city like Chicago and Brooklyn, I (and many other fans) assumed there would be some variation in the setlist for night 2. So it was bold to come out with the exact same setlist as night 1. I definitely was left a bit disappointed with not hearing A Minute To Breathe or Somewhat Damaged to switch up the slots that had rotating songs throughout the tour. But I also understand there have been some hiccups along the way on this tour to where they want to have the show be represented in the best possible way and give the best show they can. I think we have been spoiled with the rotating setlist from the last few tours that we have become accustomed to. The only thing that changed from the night before was a longer outro after Hurt. Ha! Trent said very little. It seemed as the tour went on, he said less and less. I was kinda surprised as it was the last show of the tour in Los Angeles. I think it was because they were filming some of the show. I saw someone running around on the back of the floor with a crowd camera. So this may also be why the same setlist? I had a front row seat at the rear of the venue near the board for my final show. I was happy to just take it all in and really enjoy and take in the visuals of this tour, they were absolutely stunning. Reptile and Vessel were always the highlights for the shows I saw on this tour. With not having to move the mic placements during the stage swaps, this is probably my best tape I was able to do on this tour being straight on with the right PA stack. The video I did for the night was nothing to write home about. But I was able to clamp it to the rail and just have a static shot. The focus was rather soft and that was just because of how far I was from the stage. But overall, very happy with how everything turned out. Thank you for everyone who had contributed recordings from this tour. I think overall, the quality from this tour was the best it has ever been. Lastly, the archive has gotten a new makeover, including moving to a database. Which many have requested. Comments are welcome. We have been rolling out tweaks that fans have suggested and now we can focus on getting the format and other house keeping stuff organized.Even if it's not from the 2025 tour and you have previous tour recordings that are not hosted on the archive. I'd love to help you in any way in order to preserve them on there. Please get in contact with me! Looking forward to 2026 and what people may tape!

Second to last show of the 2025 tour. This was the standard setlist that has been played on the last half of the tour. I am hoping tomorrow that there are some other cuts that make the set. Especially A Minute To Breathe and Somewhat Damaged. Was on the floor for this one and in line with the left stack at the corner of the b-stage. Still really hard to get this tour right with the fluctuating PA levels and no PA facing out from the b-stage. Show was awesome, I bumped in to a lot of friends that I had not seen in a long time. As there are my last shows for the foreseeable future, it's been awesome to catch up with many. These two shows are sold out in LA and even the resale market is scarce for tickets. The fans on the floor last night were really in to it. Although it made for a difficult time taping, you love to see people having a great time. There was a fan who was very excited Came Back Haunted was played, lol. Overall, it was an amazing show for the penultimate concert for this tour. I am looking forward to this evening.

Tampa is my last show until next week for the last two in LA. It was a slower day in terms of travel from ATL to Tampa and got to work on tapes before jetting off. Tampa was the first show they actually had screen printed posters at and I was able to score a poster outside the arena. Hung out with my boy Matt from DMLiveWiki prior to the show and was really nice to catch up with him! Also my long time friend, JD who I have been transferring his DAT collection for what seems to be a decade! Side of the stage is definitely the best place to be for recording audio imo. Sound was very good from where I sat and the speakers were directly in front of me. Standard setlist that I have seen for most of this tour. I hope to see Somewhat Damaged at one of the final LA shows. See you in LA next week.

Hitting the rest of the southeastern dates for the NIN tour. Quick stop home for a bit and then back out to ATL for the next two shows. I met up with my very good friend, Mark from LPLive. Was really nice to catch up with one of my best friends at the show! Saw NIN_Shirts as well before the show too! We had GA pit for this show and we parked in-between the A/B stages. This time, off to the side so that the mics could be positioned better to point at the main stage to capture the sound during the B Stage segments. I was very pleased with the tape for this show and felt like the sound was represented well with what was captured. Again, the setlist was rather the same for the last handful of shows I had seen. Of course during Wish, a pit opened up right next to us and I was bumped around for a few moments. But I don't think you can hear anything with the audio recording. Shot the show in 4K as well and also had some help up in the upper bowl for a good 4K shot of the whole stage! TR has said less and less at these shows, but gave ATL a shout out for being one of the best cities and the hometown of Robin Finck. Huge shout out to Nicky C for sending me an emergency spare of active cables after the Cleveland show where my cable shorted out! Dude overnighted them and everything so I could capture the last NIN shows I am attending with my favorite mics. So, huge thank you for going above and beyond!

Quick turnover from the night before in Raleigh with taking a flight early morning to get to Nashville. I met up with a few tapers before the show, Geordy and ToolDVN! Really nice to hang out with them and talk shop. Met up with a few other fans as well, whom I haven't seen in years! I was on the floor for this show and again, it's very hard with the stacks coming from the main stage during the B stage portions. So I tried to adjust my mics to be facing backwards and had some issues with it for a few moments on the transitions. Also found out from FOH that he really drives the PA throughout the night. So the levels are not continuous on every song. So that's why there is so much level fluctuations. After Raleigh and having the issues with the 32 bit float, I decided to just use my trusty M10 Oade Mod for this show. I think it was definitely because I kicked the gain up so high on the FR-AV2, but I wanted to confirm when I got home. Had a somewhat chatty crowd around me throughout the night, but this was definitely the best crowd for the handful of shows I had been to on this tour. A pit opened up, people jumping around. It had great energy! First time I've heard Burn on this tour, which was a nice switch up. As the setlist has gotten a bit static. Huge shout out to Nicky C for sending me an emergency spare of active cables after the Cleveland show where my cable shorted out! Dude overnighted them and everything so I could capture the last NIN shows I am attending with my favorite mics. So, huge thank you for going above and beyond! Headed immediately back to the hotel to get a small amount of sleep before I had to be up for a 5am flight back home for a few days. Then on to ATL/Tampa!
Notes
TJ and I had photo/media passes for this one and it was an epic evening going around the arena and shooting photos! Can't get much closer to the stage than right in the photo pit! This was a very lazy effort tape made. I kicked up the gain so much on the 32 bit float that you hear the noise floor like crazy on the recorder. This is not one of my best efforts. I thought I would be fine with the 32 bit, but even that has its limitations. I did not use my Schoeps because I had to borrow a spare active cable from Nicky C and didn't want anything to happen to it when I was around shooting photos. A huge thanks to Nicky C for sending that cable over for me to use for my last handful of NIN shows! He overnighted me the cable so I could have it for this run! Included are the shots approved by NIN from my efforts as well.

My first show of the Peel It Back Tour. I was super stoked to head to Detroit for my hometown show at LCA. I sat in section 125 near the stage. It's hard to record on this tour with the quieter parts of the set. Thank you to TJ for allowing me to try out the Tascam recorder that has 32 bit float. It really helps with the fluctuation in levels during the set and not worry too much about the levels. I've tried my best to not watch much footage from the tour up to this point, and listen to full recordings. But it's hard not to when you're adding tapes. The stage design is really amazing. Very cool visuals and I could honestly listen to a B-Stage set with Boys Noize for a full set. Vessel was the highlight of the night for me. The bass was so crisp and the new rendition of it is incredible. Closer and As Alive As You Need Me To Be were also awesome! I think I've seen Mr. Self Destruct over a dozen times and I think for like 80% of them, TR has swapped the first line lol. TR wished Boys Noize a happy birthday during band introductions. This being an arena tour, like I said, it is somewhat of a challenge to record audio. LCA has been notorious for not being the best for acoustics. Even though it is a new arena. I think this tape is a decent representation of the night. The transition from the B Stage in to Wish, the PA levels were lower than what I would expect. Overall, really happy with the tape and the video came out good for the night. Although it was a very quick trip up to Detroit. It was nice to see everyone who I bumped in to! I was able to hang with my brother, which was great. There were a few other tapers in attendance who I also ran in to before the show. Hope to have their tapes up when they are ready.

Has my source 1 Schoeps audio synced to it. Video is an average 4K recording. During the first act on the B-Stage my video sensor was having a tough time and some drifting was happening. After, it had worked itself out. But will not be using this camera again. Yes, the download is 37GB. Please give yourself time and a decent connection if you are considering it. Remember you can always watch it on the archive's YouTube channel.

NIN packed 45 minutes of just a nasty performance for the VetsAid concert put on by Joe Walsh. The start of Wish with the house lights on and the stage full of fog is absolutely epic. As TR stated, this will be the last performance of 'The Cold And Black And Infinite' era. I assume losing the raw aesthetics that we've seen on stage since 2017 and maybe one member is taking time away from touring? Not sure. Either way, NIN blew the roof off with this set. Really enjoyed all the performances from the evening. Thanks to anonymous for the feed, it was quickly worked on and matrixed together! I heard that the livestream audio had some echo in it throughout the night. So hopefully this makes up for it! Note this was uploaded to DIME but was banned because of the stream still being available for purchase. This is not the stream. All audience sourced. There was also a few changes to this audio recording and is the definitive source. I made a few errors that you may or may not notice in the initial seed.

Made another blunder with the mic attenuation setting on the Marantz. Even though the levels were peaking around -9 to -6 db, the sound is blown out with bass. It is not a good representation of this show and Source 1 is a vastly superior recording. This will not be released.

Second night in Philly and I was EXPLODING. Band comes out with the fog rolling in, house lights still on. I about lost my mind. No intro, just right in to Wish. This set was HEAVY. No fluff, no encore. Just straight through for 1h40m. Tonight was the debut of 'Me, I'm Not' on the 2022 tour. There were a few songs soundchecked in the afternoon that were not played that haven't been played in awhile. Taped from the same spot on the floor as the previous night. I also did video and came out really well, not having too many people that were taller than I around.
Notes
Looking back at these two shows in Philly. They may have been my favorite shows of the tour. Very small venue and the sound was great in the venue from the floor. I taped the audience recording from about 15 feet in front of the soundboard on the floor. House lights still on and the band walks through the fog and starts to play Wish. It was a pre-2008 setlist with no encore. They played straight through. I received the feed in my inbox a few months ago. I have been slowly working on matrixing the sources together. I did not know that they recorded. I believe the two recordings complement one another. The small amount of reverb is added to help with the harshness of the feed. I am really happy with how this turned out and it sounds fantastic. There are a few more to come.

First night of the run in Philly. Thank you to my wife for getting me tickets for both nights and she accompanied me for this show! Her first. She now gets it why I travel to see NIN so many times. Said that they are an unbelievably tight and well executed band and understands my allure to them! Anyways, to the show... They opened the show with the backing track of Subterraneans and Trent was playing the sax live, so I kept this on the tape. The whole setlist is WELL. BALANCED. Some deep cuts, Home/TBOTE and an EPIC encore. Trent/Atticus blew my mind with the 'Happiness In Slavery' breakdown. This was taped from a few feet in front of the soundboard on the floor.
Notes
I edited this fileset slightly. You probably won't notice the very small difference on a few songs. But my OCD needed to fix a few things. Looking back at these two shows in Philly. They may have been my favorite shows of the tour. Very small venue and the sound was great in the venue from the floor. I taped the audience recording from about 15 feet in front of the soundboard on the floor. House lights still on with Trent playing the saxophone on 'Subterraneans' at the back of the stage. It was the only time this song opened/played on this tour. This Isn't The Place > EDIETS > The Big Come Down was the highlight of this show for me. I received the feed in my inbox a few months ago. I have been slowly working on matrixing the sources together. I did not know that they recorded. I believe the two recordings complement one another. The small amount of reverb is added to help with the harshness of the feed. There are a few more to come.

Another great show, featuring the return of Echoplex and The Line Begins to Blur!
Notes
I've been working on this off/on for almost 2 years now. A few times the project files did not sync to my Google Drive, losing everything. So starting over each time just seemed like a chore. But I finally found the motivation to really knock it out. I am usually not one to talk up recordings, but this is the best recording/representation of the NIN 2022 tour. I have meticulously mixed all of the sources for this one and went through removing each click from the feeds individually to give a clean version of each song. This run of shows (Raleigh, Atlanta, Franklin) was very special for me, personally. Not only was it post COVID lockdown to see my favorite band's first shows since 2018/pandemic. But I was also able to spend some time with my brother and good friends, Mark from lplive and TJ of ratm.live. As for many, the two years prior were pretty tough not seeing shows and not being able to converse with others in person about our favorite hobby, taping! Met a lot of people throughout the 3 days and it was great to talk with everyone about Nine Inch Nails and the archive. It took awhile to get out of the parking lot here in Franklin after the show, so it was cool to sit with everyone after the show and transfer the tapes to our laptops! Not to get too sentimental... let's talk about the show! First off, the venue was pretty amazing. Sitting down in an old rock quarry. A very cool venue! I would definitely go back to see a show there. The sound was great from where we sat, about 7 rows back from the left section in line with the stack. The bass was pretty overpowering throughout the shows and felt the A10 wasn't handling it well at the prior two. So I used my M10 for this show, which helped. I don't know if it was a noise ordinance or what, but up until Burn the PA system was dialed down. It was only during this song did they turn up the PA and being at the show there was a noticeable difference from then on. Atlanta saw the return of 'Heresy' in to the set and I was happy to see it at the Franklin show too! Highlight of the night was seeing 'The Line Begins To Blur' performed for the first time since 2009. Trent stopped to talk a few times throughout the show and I think even he was happy to be back on stage and out of the studio cave. I am really happy how this recording came out. It is definitely the best tape of the tour and represents it well. I would say it rivals any soundboard release. But I also could be biased. Thank you to ToolDVN and anonymous for sending over their IEM feeds after the show to work on. Let's hope that 2024 may see NIN back on stage, but I am not expecting it. Enjoy!
