Notes
Taper's notes, "Recorded Stage right starting about 50 feet from the stacks and slowly moving forward about 20 more feet (see photos). An interesting note was for the entire show there were two ASL interpreters off the right side of the stage who did the entire gig and looked to be enjoying at much as anyone. Overall sounds levels seemed lower in Bend than the show before at Edgefield, there appeared to be less speakers hung up on the stage and there was a more significant breeze. The microphone handled the levels really well without notable distortion but the frequency response is pretty lopsided. As a result, the final recording has been processed a bit to bring the balance of the recording back in line. For a $20 mic on a cell phone, I was really happy with the end product." Also to note, this was recorded at 16-bit/22050 kHz. It is a mono recording.

Notes
Mono recording. Taper's notes, " Taped dead center, in the pit halfway between the stage and board. Not wanting to bring my old MD rig down for this run of shows, I decided to see if there was a phone based solution, leading me to building a couple of microphones myself (http://www.openmusiclabs.com/projects/bootlegmic/index.html). Recordings have some flaws but over the course of three nights I felt like I learned a lot, and came away with something better than I would have with my old rig. The mic I used for the 13th didn't capture the high end as well as I had hoped. During MOTP the pit got a bit unruly, knocking the mic loose, and the phone reverting back to the internal mic. Great A/B comparison point..."

Notes
The original venue was supposed to be the IC Amphitheater next door, but according to venue staff, the show was moved indoors because NIN's production was too large/ too heavy for the amphitheater.I have sadly had this in my backlog folder since about 2014. Sometimes you just forget things you have been working on! Whoops! Anyways, AAC was kind enough to send me his master MD tapes in 2014 to transfer these digitally. The transfers that were done earlier were analog out on the MD deck. The volume had brickwalled the recording where the digital recording is exactly what was recorded onto the disc. The analog recording may be louder, but it comes with all the distortion. This is a really good recording and only source from this show.It was NIN's first time in Boise and Trent mentions that a few times and how blown away he was with the turnout. MD flip at the end of Closer and beginning of Burn.

Recorded from GA, Center stage, about 14 rows back. MD flip at the end of Closer and beginning of Burn. AAC allowed me to transfer a bunch of his MD masters back in 2014 digitally. The original transfers were done analog. I am very excited to have these master transfers in the archive. This show is very good with La Mer > Into The Void > Big Come Down > Suck > Get Down Make Love just tearing it up!

Notes
This is a good recording. AAC sent over his master MD tapes for me to properly digitize them. But sadly, the 2nd disc of the recording did not play and ran out of errors. The recording level was low at the show. Had to amplify by over 30+ db in the right channel, which gives you a lot of the noise floor (hiss) you hear in that channel. That is not to say it isn't a great tape. I for one really love this one. Just some things that can happen while taping. The MD flip is between Only and Wish. Note; because I could not transfer the 2nd disc, I have kept AAC's line out transfer on the archive to keep a consistent source.

Recorded from Section H, row 6, seat 14. This recording is being re-released as this was transferred digitally. The initial transfer of acc123456's recordings were all analog out on their MD deck. The reason I know this is because acc gave me the raw transfers of all the recordings that he did over the years and you could hear the beep when you hit play on the MD player. There is a difference in quality between the two. You can hear a lot more hiss in the first transfer, which I would assume is from the noise floor of the deck or running out the analog jack. A tad bassy, but it's a good recording!

Also, the 2005 recordings all suffered some errors on the discs themselves with some skips. These new transfers have removed almost all of them completely. The songs that suffered errors were 'Love Is Not Enough,' 'March of the Pigs,' 'The Frail,' ' and 'Head Like a Hole.' For the most part they were removed completely, but there will be some slight skips. Taper's Original Notes, "Taped from several locations on the floor. I got tossed around quite a bit for the first half of the show so there are some skips (also have an old rig). The second half of the show is much better. The begining of Eraser is cut do to an MD switch."

The songs that suffered on the first transfer were "Pinion," "Eraser," and "Sin." With the new transfers there are none. The MD flip is during "Down In It" so the beginning of the song is not on the recording.
