TIMP has taped NIN a lot in the past and he has come out of retirement to do a few shows for the nin live archive traveling rig that has been going around the country. I am really happy to have him doing this. I gave him my backup rig instead of the 717 for these shows, as he has previous experiences. Another fantastic recording by TIMP. These are all songs pre 1995 on the set! I can't wait to see what happens for these last few dates on the tour!

A great recording done by TIMP that has been supplemented by the feed done by Distortion. I am finally getting around to working on this and have matrixed both sources together. All songs on this setlist were pre 1995, which is absolutely wicked. Thanks again to all the tapers on the Cold and Black and Infinite Tour. I hope we will see some shows in the future.

I am really happy to have him doing this. I gave him my backup rig instead of the 717 for these shows, as he has previous experiences. The run in San Francisco may be my favorite tapes of the tour. Really good recordings and the setlists are well balanced. For the most part, the crowd is isolated from the recording and Trent's vocals are near perfect and crystal clear. Not to mention the bass is well balanced. A perfect example is how The Lovers sounds on this tape. Enjoy the recording!

TIMP has taped NIN a lot in the past and he has come out of retirement to do a few shows for the nin live archive traveling rig that has been going around the country. I am really happy to have him doing this. Personally, this is a fine tape and one of my favorites I've heard from the tour thus far. I gave him my backup mics instead of the 717 because he has had experience in the past with taping. This set was all NIN pre 1998! What a setlist. I especially love the encore they did this show. They have only played A Warm Place, Eraser and Dead Souls a few times this tour.

I am really happy to have him doing this. I gave him my backup rig instead of the 717 for these shows, as he has previous experiences. The tapes for the Vegas run came out nice. This show is sadly incomplete because the recorder was put back into pause mode when moving into his pocket. So it misses a few tracks during the show. Otherwise, it's a good tape. Will say there is a guy next to TIMP all night who chimes in with some commentary from time to time. Which either you like, or don't. I personally find some of the comments hilarious. But the tracks are crystal clear and I love Big Come Down!

Released December 2014, this is the only source available from the last performance of NIN (hopefully not forever) from this tour. Decent recording, applied phase correction/repair to the recording as the left channel was brickwalled a tad and the channels were not matched perfectly. Other than that, no EQ'ing was done to the recording. Big thanks to TIMP for sharing another one of his many recordings.

Thanks to TIMP for sending over his recording! This was recorded in mp3 because he did not have enough space to record in a WAV file for this night. The recording is a bit muffled and the left channel was a lot stronger than the right. I used phase correction to equalize the channels and then normalized the channels to -0.1 db. No EQ'ing was done to the tape.

Taper comments: "Recorded right in front of the mixing desk with very little crowd chatter. In the beginning you can hear some small clicks during "The Wake Up" due to me adjusting my microphones (sorry) but the rest of the recording is spot on."

Taper comments: "My seats pretty much sucked as far as taping goes. I was in the Mezz section on Rob's side, 2nd row. About half way through the show you can hear some girls talking throughout every song which annoyed me to no end (They had moved down from their original seats that were 5 rows behind me.) The audio is muddy at times and Mariqueen's vocals drop out every once and a while. I blame the venue for having less than stellar acoustics which resulted in the lack of "range" with this recording. Overall, I would rate this about a C+ to *maybe* a B- ."

Good recording, fades out at the end of Suck, misses all of Down In It and comes in during Hurt. I had been talking with TIMP to get his MD masters almost 10 years ago. But they were with a friend. I knew I would see them one day and finally in February, I was able to acquire them to work on! The previous transfers were all done headphone out on the minidisc player. I have taken these and done a full digital transfer using my optical out on the MD deck I have. It has made these recordings sound better and it's amazing to have the best transfers available to preserve these recordings. MD Flip cuts at the end of "Suck" and "Down In It" was not recorded. The recording starts back up during "Hurt." The transfer does skip right at the beginning of "Hurt" which is not on the original transfer. They actually omitted it from the release altogether. This is the last show of the With_Teeth Tour cycle. One of NIN's longest run of shows. Trent's speech at the end of the show is also pretty memorable with everyone he thanks. Thanks again for TIMP sending me these and getting these properly transferred. So mega!

I actually thought I had this recording for the archive, only to realize that I did not! Pretty awesome to have this after almost 14 years!

I think this is TIMP's best tape. Great recording. I had been talking with TIMP to get his MD masters almost 10 years ago. But they were with a friend. MD Flip is close to the end of "Wish" and "Only" starts during the middle of the song. This night was the make up show from 09/16/2005 that was rescheduled. This is one of the longest setlists during this tour at almost 2 hours long. Nice little touch to this make up show for all the fans. Sound quality for this recording is awesome too!

This is the first show of the With_Teeth Fall Arena Tour. The show ends abruptly during Eraser after NIN's drummer, Jerome Dillon had a heart issue and needed to be treated medically. This show was then rescheduled later in November. Tape is excellent from TIMP. Really enjoyed listening back to this one!

Was recently back in San Diego for a wedding and I made a few trips to pick up some miniDV and HDV masters up in Los Angeles. Huge haul and I'm excited to be working on it. Just be coincidence, TIMP had gotten his master tapes back from his friend that has been holding onto them at the same time. Back in 2010, I got a lot of his masters from transfer that had been done long ago. They were done through the line out/headphone jack and I knew that doing an optical transfer could optimize the recordings. I had just told him to keep me in the loop with/when he ever was able to get his tapes back. To get back to the story, he was kind enough to bring them over to me so I can transfer them once I get back home! Huge! There was a lot of tapes that I did not have, including this one. Tape sounds excellent! MD flip is after "Even Deeper" and right before "Wish," Trent expresses his distain for the heckler of The Dresden Dolls. Which TIMP also recorded. Again, huge thanks for TIMP allowing me to take his master tapes to work on. Great to revisit these tapes again and get the proper transfers of them!At this point, this is the first time these two San Diego tapes have been released.

MD flip comes close to the end of Big Come Down and starts back up during Gave Up. TIMP had problems with the minidisc all night with some skips in the middle of the set. These aren't too apparent as I have cleaned them up throughout the tape.
