Back in 2014, Sal had messaged me on Twitter saying he had taped two SF shows in the early 90s after I had released a 1st gen copy of this recording, here is a sample of the old version of this to compare how massive an upgrade it is. . Took some time to find the tapes and I never followed up until I started going back through my emails during quarantine to follow any leads. Sal kindly obliged to send me the tapes to transfer for the archive! This tape is amazing. What I feel is a massive upgrade in quality from the first gen transfer. The sound is a lot clearer and more range. After Sin there is a break because Trent had thrown his mic stand and hit drummer Chris Vrenna in the head and started to bleed. You can see the footage of it in the NIN video, Closure. Sal stops recording during the pause to save tape. Tape flip is during the beginning of Suck. Big thanks to Sal for sending the tapes and allowing me to transfer them for the archive. I am super pumped about this upgrade.

Sal kindly obliged to send me the tapes to transfer for the archive! This recording from 1991 was the same that is on the archive now, but from the master tape. I also transferred the previous one and I will say that my transfer methods have gotten better since then. The tape ran a bit slow, so it was sped up in audition by 4.9%. It sounds absolutely stellar. Big thanks to Sal for sending the tapes and allowing me to transfer them for the archive.
